Jill Schafer

Of Counsel

Jill is of counsel to our firm focusing on commercial real estate matters including leasing, conveyancing, development and land use and zoning, as well as condominium drafting and amendments. Jill represents landlords and tenants in negotiations for office, retail and industrial leases. She advises clients on a broad range of land use matters and has extensive experience representing clients before local boards. Jill negotiates purchase agreements, loan documents and joint venture agreements, performs all aspects of due diligence and manages the transaction through closing.

She also has experience working on wireless telecommunications development projects and has assisted clients with site acquisition and lease negotiation, local and state permitting processes and construction issues.

Prior to joining MBM, Jill represented clients in all aspects of the cannabis industry, including corporate formation, private financing, real estate leases and/or purchases, state and local licensing, local permitting, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions.
